Incredibly clever reference book of film directors

This book could be a thorough, well-thought-out reference of major film administrators. It's organized like an encyclopedia and in each description of a director are references to different administrators in daring face sort. the concept being that once reading a neighborhood on, say, Woody Allen, you'll then head to Frederico Fellini, who was highlighted in Woody's bio and thus on. wonderful book. i am unable to perceive why it had been taken out of print or why it would not have sold well.
