A terrific resource for the touring classical musician

This is the sole book I've found that addresses the queries of management, booking, publicity, contract negotiation, budgeting, and market trends for those people operating in classical music. It's extraordinarily useful, clearly written, and comprehensive. What a relief to induce answers to those queries while not having to buckle down and do millions of irrelevent stuff regarding club dates and laser lightweight shows! For once, the tone is true, the resources cited are acceptable, and also the timetables are tailored to the classical music marketplace. The author, a former dancer, spends quite a heap of her time addressing the considerations of touring dance firms, however there is many info for chamber musicians, theater firms, touring recitalists, and instrumental and vocal soloists seeking engagements with orchestras or opera firms. Now, if there have been solely a book like this that centered entirely on the small print of making promotional materials...
